Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Finna ("we," "our," or "us") governing your access to and use of the Finna mobile application, web application, and all related services (collectively, the "Services").
By creating an account, accessing, or using Finna, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Services.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use Finna. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that:
- You are 16 years of age or older
- You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
- You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction
- You will provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
If you are under 18, you confirm that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use Finna. We reserve the right to request proof of age or parental consent at any time.
3. Account Registration
To access most features of Finna, you must create an account using one of the following methods:
- Email and password (Firebase Authentication)
- Google Sign-In
- Apple Sign-In
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
- Ensuring your account information remains accurate
We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.
4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
IMPORTANT: AI-Generated Information
Finna uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini 3 Flash) to generate travel recommendations, itineraries, place suggestions, and answers to your questions. All AI-generated content is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only and may contain inaccuracies, outdated information, or errors.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- AI is not infallible: Travel information generated by Finna may be incorrect, incomplete, or out of date. Always verify critical information (visa requirements, flight schedules, hotel availability, pricing, health advisories, etc.) with official sources before making decisions.
- No guarantees: We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of any AI-generated content. You use this information at your own risk.
- Not real-time: AI training data may be outdated. Travel conditions, regulations, and availability change frequently.
- User responsibility: You are solely responsible for verifying all travel details, bookings, and plans before departure.
5. No Professional Advice
Finna does NOT provide professional advice of any kind, including but not limited to:
- Legal Advice: Information about visas, immigration requirements, customs regulations, or international law is AI-generated and may be inaccurate. Always consult official embassy or consulate websites and, if necessary, an immigration attorney.
- Medical Advice: We do not provide medical recommendations, vaccination requirements, or health guidance. Consult a licensed healthcare provider or travel medicine specialist before traveling.
- Financial Advice: Budget estimates, currency exchange rates, and cost predictions are AI-generated approximations and should not be relied upon for financial planning.
- Safety Advice: Travel safety information, including warnings about destinations, is not professional security advice. Check government travel advisories (e.g., U.S. State Department, UK Foreign Office) for current safety information.
Finna is a planning tool and AI assistant, not a substitute for professional expertise or official resources.
6. Affiliate Links & Partnerships
Finna may include affiliate links to third-party travel services, including but not limited to:
- Booking platforms (Booking.com, Airbnb, etc.)
- Flight search engines (Skyscanner, etc.)
- Tour operators (GetYourGuide, Viator, etc.)
- Travel services (Airalo, NordVPN, SafetyWing, etc.)
- Visa services (iVisa, etc.)
When you click on an affiliate link (routed through getfinna.com/go/), we may earn a commission if you make a purchase. This does NOT increase the price you pay.
You acknowledge that:
- Affiliate relationships do not influence the quality of recommendations
- We are not responsible for the products, services, or policies of third-party partners
- Transactions occur directly between you and the third party
- Third-party terms and conditions, cancellation policies, and refund policies apply
- We do not process payments or handle bookings (except tracking anonymous click data for attribution)
7. User Conduct
You agree to use Finna in compliance with all applicable laws and these Terms. You will NOT:
- Use the Services for any illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, servers, or databases
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Services
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access Finna without permission
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or malicious code
- Impersonate another person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users or our support staff
- Use Finna to spam, phish, or distribute unsolicited communications
- Violate the intellectual property rights of Finna or third parties
- Attempt to manipulate, abuse, or defraud our affiliate tracking system
We reserve the right to investigate violations and cooperate with law enforcement authorities when necessary.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, trademarks, logos, and materials provided through Finna (excluding user-generated content and third-party content) are owned by Finna or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use Finna for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not:
- Reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from Finna's content
- Use Finna's branding, logo, or design elements without written permission
- Frame, mirror, or embed Finna on other websites without authorization
User-Generated Content License
You retain ownership of content you create in Finna (trip itineraries, chat messages, uploaded images). By using the Services, you grant Finna a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, store, reproduce, and process your content solely to:
- Provide and improve the Services
- Generate AI responses based on your chat history and preferences
- Display your trips and data within your account
- Comply with legal obligations
We will not sell or share your personal content with third parties for marketing purposes.
9. Service Availability & Modifications
We strive to provide reliable, uninterrupted access to Finna, but we do not guarantee that the Services will always be available, error-free, or secure. We reserve the right to:
- Modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or the entire Service at any time without notice
- Perform scheduled or emergency maintenance
- Implement updates, bug fixes, and improvements
- Change pricing, features, or subscription plans
We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or interruption of service caused by maintenance, technical issues, third-party failures, or events beyond our control.
10. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for:
- Violation of these Terms
- Fraudulent or illegal activity
- Abuse of the Services or our support team
- Chargebacks or payment disputes (if applicable)
- Extended inactivity (at our discretion)
You may delete your account at any time via the app settings or by contacting support@getfinna.com. Upon account deletion, all your data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days, except as required by law.
Termination does not waive any obligations you incurred while using the Services (e.g., third-party bookings made via affiliate links).
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FINNA AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
- Damages resulting from reliance on AI-generated content, recommendations, or third-party services
- Travel disruptions, cancellations, delays, or losses caused by third parties (airlines, hotels, tour operators, etc.)
- Unauthorized access to your account due to your negligence
- Service interruptions, data loss, or technical failures
IN NO EVENT SHALL FINNA'S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO FINNA IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM (OR $100 USD IF NO PAYMENTS WERE MADE).
Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability for incidental or consequential damages. In such cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Finna and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and licensors from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your use or misuse of the Services
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any law or regulation
- Your violation of third-party rights
- Content you submit or share through Finna
13. Disclaimers
FINNA IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
- Warranties that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of AI-generated content
- Warranties that defects will be corrected or that our servers are free of viruses
No advice or information (oral or written) obtained from Finna or through the Services creates any warranty not expressly stated in these Terms.
14. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where Finna is operated, without regard to conflict of law principles. For users in the European Union, consumer protection laws of your country may also apply.
Informal Resolution
Before pursuing formal legal action, you agree to contact us at support@getfinna.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve complaints within 30 days.
Arbitration (Optional)
If informal resolution fails, you may choose binding arbitration as an alternative to litigation. Arbitration will be conducted by a mutually agreed-upon arbitrator in accordance with applicable arbitration rules. Each party bears its own costs unless otherwise awarded by the arbitrator.
Exceptions to Arbitration
You may bring claims in small claims court if they qualify. We may seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court to protect our intellectual property or confidential information.
15. Miscellaneous
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Finna regarding the Services and supersede any prior agreements.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force.
Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms to any affiliate, successor, or purchaser without restriction.
Force Majeure
We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, government actions, internet outages, or third-party service failures.
16. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of Finna after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Services and delete your account.

BY USING FINNA, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ THESE TERMS OF SERVICE, UNDERSTAND THEM, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THEM. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, DO NOT USE THE SERVICES.
